Second Time Round are a Midlands-based acoustic duo consisting of Karen Ivison (Kaz) on vocals and Mike Fleming (me) on guitar and bass. We've been going since early 2005, when I heard Kaz singing in the kitchen and asked her if she wanted to have a go at singing accompanied. This culminated with us appearing at an open mike night at the Roadhouse in Birmingham (that's the Birmingham in the middle of England, not the Alabama one).
Our music is a mixture of covers and originals, and includes such diverse items as "Bad Moon Rising" (Creedence Clearwater Revival), "Everybody Hurts" (REM) and "Fever" (Peggy Lee).
